WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE TOGETHER.
And what is still to be CREATED through our shared efforts.
As an international platform featuring a organization catalog, a charity navigator and an overview of the digital footprint, CHARITY GUIDE builds a holistic picture of the social environment and the opportunities to take part in it.
It is important to note that the platform is not built on theoretical models or abstract ideas. It is grounded in practical experience of taking part in creating and supporting various initiatives. This experience does not claim universality or the status of large-scale international solutions, but it provides an understanding of real processes, from first steps to tangible results.
That is why, within the framework of collaborations and the social projects lab, it was decided not to limit ourselves to navigation and analysis alone, but to share part of this experience. Not as ready-made instructions or mandatory scripts, but as a practical foundation that those who are just considering their own initiatives, or are already in the process of implementing them, can rely on.
This section presents some of the projects completed before the platform was created, as well as ideas and directions that may develop in the future. This is not a finished story, but an ongoing process in which past experience becomes a foothold for the present, and the present shapes opportunities for the future.
You can learn more about the principles of interaction, approaches and ways to get involved in the articles on collaborations and the social projects lab. They explain how joint initiatives take shape and what role each person can play in them.
This is also where we share our willingness to exchange knowledge, practice and observations, and, when needed, to take part in joint initiatives, support ideas and help them find their form.
Because it is often small projects, starting on a single street, that over time go beyond the boundaries of cities.
And small ideas and personal aspirations can become part of far greater changes.
Long before the platform appeared, this approach was already reflected in concrete actions. It is not about isolated initiatives, but about consistent practice in which people’s participation, ideas and joint efforts produced visible results.
Together with different people and within various projects, thousands of trees were planted in the urban landscape, avenues and green areas were created, and parts of the Odesa Botanical Garden were restored. Benches, sculptural compositions and landscaping elements appeared, and public spaces took shape and became part of the city environment.
In parallel, initiatives were carried out to support children’s hospitals, intensive care units and maternity hospitals. Equipment was handed over, necessary materials were purchased, and assistance was provided that in some cases directly contributed to preserving health and life.
A separate area was the support of social institutions and targeted assistance to people, including food programs for the elderly and participation in the life of boarding houses and other organizations. These projects rarely have wide public visibility, yet they form the lasting foundation of the social environment.
It is important to understand that behind each of these actions stood not only resources but also people. People who took part, supported, offered ideas and got involved in the processes. It was this interaction that made the move from intention to result possible.
Each completed project delivered not only a concrete, measurable effect. It showed that even with limited means, it is possible to create change when there is an understanding of the processes and a willingness to act together.
It is this experience that now becomes part of the platform. Not as a showcase of achievements, but as open practice that may be useful to others.
Because the basis of any change is not scale at the start, but consistency of action.
And it is often small steps, supported by others, that over time build sustainable and meaningful processes.
“Everything that has already been done, we did together with you. Everything that will still be created will become possible thanks to you.”

BEFORE THE PLATFORM WAS CREATED
The volunteer path that built the experience needed to create CHARITY GUIDE!
This is only part of the path already travelled. What matters most is everything still ahead, together with you.
The figures above are just the tip of the iceberg of a long path made up of hundreds of initiatives, decisions and joint efforts. Behind every number stand real stories, people and changes that cannot be fitted into a few lines.
If you want to learn more about us –
LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD TOGETHER.
Initiatives being implemented now and joint projects in development.
Previously completed projects and the changes they brought.
We do not know where the chosen path will lead us or what turns it will take. But every step, every decision and every action shapes the direction in which we move.
And one day each of us asks ourselves a simple but important question: am I where I dreamed of being when everything was just beginning? And often the answer is determined not by circumstances, but by what was done along the way.
Guide
People are moved by ideas, both their own and those born from the example of others. People are moved by deeds that inspire, and by faith in goodness that can change reality. This resource was created to bring all of this together: meanings, examples, opportunities to take part and the path to constructive change.
USEFUL MATERIALS
When meaningful deeds remain unnoticed, they do not become examples.
Silence breaks the chain of actions in which one step inspires the next.
The urge to help and to unite is deeply rooted in human nature.
That is why someone else’s example can trigger our own actions.
Good intentions often remain unrealized without a clear first step.
Even a small action can set change in motion and overcome this barrier.
Trust is built where there is transparency, facts and real results.
Constructive actions show how people and the environment around them change.
Whether you return to the pages of this resource to do something together with us, or to inspire others with the deeds you have already done, it does not matter. What matters is that this fragile world rests on people like you. Thank you for that.
Anatoly Kavun
You are already here, so you had your reasons. We will be glad if, having learned more about us, you find your good deed with the help of this resource.
And do not forget: someday someone inspired you. Perhaps today or tomorrow, you yourself will become a source of inspiration. This is how the wheel of goodness keeps turning.
Below are real testimonials from people who took part in the projects and initiatives that became part of this path. We would not want everything said above to remain just another part of the large but often soulless flow of information that is so abundant online. That is why the words of those who saw the results with their own eyes, took part in the changes and were part of joint good deeds are especially important.
